Natália Viroga

 

(1982,Uruguay). Works with choreography, improvisation and photography. Her dance training begins in Uruguay Escuela de Danza de Melo and follows in Montevideo. Between 2008-2009 participates in the Program of Research and Choreographic Composition – PePCC (Dance Forum, Lisbon) which experiences the work of artists like John Fiadeiro, Vera Mantero, Loic Touzé, Meg Stuart, Deborah Hay, Lisa Nelson, Julyen Hamilton, Mark Tompkins , etc. Since then she works as an interpreter, collaborating with various choreographers such as Thomas Lehmen, Tamara Cubas, Vera Mantero and Ali Moini. Collaborated with Gustavo Ciriaco in a residence creating his “Who walks on the ground, who walks in the trees, who has wings” in Montevideo and more recently with the Gentleness of a giant in Portugal and Uruguay. Does your own work in collaboration with other artists (Amorphous, Interval) and is currently working on her next creation, DESIERTO SENSATIONAL. She graduated in photography and is currently pursuing a degree in Fine and Visual Arts at the Faculdad de Bellas Artes de la Universidad de la República, Montevideo.
