Julia Pombo

Julia Pombo investigates the processes of subjectivation, signification and categorization that cross the body through images, actions, clothes, objects, writings and sound. She holds a master’s degree in Visual Languages (EBA/UFRJ). In 2015, she studied in the school of visual arts at Parque Lage. In 2016, with project INA, she carried out an occupation at galeria casamata, in Rio de Janeiro. She had a solo exhibition in 2012 at the same gallery and took part in residency programs as Terra Una as well as in collective exhibitions.
