Motus & Silvia Calderoni (MDLSX)
Enrico Casagrande and Daniela Nicolò founded Motus in 1991, in Rimini. The name “Motus” (a latin word) evoques an image in movement and incorporates an atitude of multiple points of view towards experiences-knowledge-works from the past, to nourish a strategic arsenal in order to reinvent the present, mixing forms and languages. For Motus, there are no borders, no limits between countries, historical moments or disciplines. No separation between art and civil engagement. Silvia Calderoni — the tireless lead actress in MDLSX — has been working with Motus since 2005. She is winner of the Ubu Prize 2009 for Best Actress Under 30; the Marte Award 2013; the Elizabeth Turroni Award for Best Actress 2014, and the 2015 Virginia Reiter Award for Best Actress under 35.
